Robin Hassler Thompson, the Executive Director of the Survive and Thrive Advocacy Center (STAC), will discuss the faces of human trafficking, human trafficking laws in Florida, the impact of human trafficking on business and the workplace, legal remedies, training for business, and how the legal profession can get involved. TWL will also present its Rose Deeb Kitchen Award.

Robin Hassler Thompson, M.A., J.D., is the Executive Director of the Survive and Thrive Advocacy Center (STAC), non-profit agency she co-founded in 2015 to assist survivors of human trafficking. Other related areas of expertise include Adolescent Domestic Battery (ADB), human trafficking advocacy, the impact of domestic violence and sexual assault in the workplace, and justice system reform. Robin’s work includes policy development and analysis, meeting planning and organization, training and education, public speaking, strategic planning, and program evaluation.
